AUTOMATED HAULAGE SYSTEM FOR UNDERGROUND MINING TRUCKS AND LHDS

SIAMguidance is an automated haulage system designed for underground mining trucks and LHDs. It improves operator safety and comfort, increases productivity, reduces cost and ensures vehicle reliability through continuous and systematic operations. In a typical application automatically guided vehicles are controlled through a specially designed communication network common to other SIAMtechnologies. The network can be local, at 2.4GHz, or extended with the SIAMnet communication backbone. Operator interface can be as simple as the basic SIAMremote Operator Unit (OU), or specially designed SCADA / PC interface located in a control room. Vehicles are programmed to automatically haul material from a loading point to a dumping point or can dump the material at specific points along the automated zone.
